
The most important part of this lesson is helping people learn to live the Spirit-filled life. Don't get distracted by all the verses in the LOOKING UP section. Focus on just two or three of them.
You want to allow plenty of time to go through the Satisfied article. This is available both online and in paper. You may want to have some extra paper copies so that participants can share it with someone else (see Preparing for Mission). They could also use GodTools or the MyFriends App to share Satisfied.

The Scriptures are clear — every aspect of Jesus’ life and ministry was saturated with the Spirit of God.
Jesus was:

1 Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
21 At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, ‘I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.
2 until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.
