We often encourage people the way we want to be encouraged. A good leader considers what others need.
The purpose of this exercise is to help participants change their focus from programs to people. It is also to demonstrate how the Planning Arrow is useful in planning decisions.
Participants may need help in figuring out where to put people on their chart. If you are doing this in person, walk around the room and offer to help people individually.
If doing this online, have a person share their screen.
